West Main Street
Ecotech II | S15
Professor Brian Osborn
This project analyzed the urban surface and subsurface of West Main Street in Charlottesville, Virginia. Pairs of students each took detailed field measurements of a segment of the street, translating the data into AutoCAD and using it to deduce information about stormwater runoff and street utilities. We then proposed changes to West Main Street that would mitigate problematic flows of water, cars, bikes, and pedestrians.
